Feedback & complaints pathway

  1. Step 1

    Speak with Brita directly

Most concerns are resolved quickly and informally. Email brita.golsbysmith@icloud.com or call 0406 530 479. You will receive an acknowledgement within 5 business days and a full written response within 30 days. You are welcome to bring a support person to any discussion.

  2. Step 2

    Put it in writing

If the first response does not resolve things, ask for a formal written review. Set out what happened, when, and what outcome you are seeking. The matter will be reviewed again and a written outcome provided, including any changes made to practice.

  3. Step 3

    NSW Health Care Complaints Commission

You may contact the HCCC at any time — you do not have to raise it with Brita first. Phone 1800 043 159 or visit hccc.nsw.gov.au. The HCCC handles complaints about health services and practitioners in NSW.

  4. Step 4

Ahpra and the Nursing and Midwifery Board

Concerns about a registered nurse's conduct, performance or health can be notified to Ahpra on 1300 419 495 or at ahpra.gov.au. Ahpra registration number NMW0002327674.

  5. Privacy matters

    Information and privacy regulators

For unresolved privacy concerns, contact the NSW Information and Privacy Commission (1800 472 679) or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (1300 363 992).
